Brady William Delaney
On April 2, 2024 our community dimmed in an instant when Brady “B” Delaney, our son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to all was tragically killed in a weather related car accident on the AA Highway in Campbell County. While Heaven gained a beautiful soul, a great light was taken from our community.
Born September 29, 2004, Brady was the oldest of 4 children where his role model characteristics took precedent. For Brady, it was family first and his love for his siblings was indescribable. Brady was a 2022 graduate of Campbell County High School where he made his mark on the Boys Soccer Program. He was a 5-year player, completing his dedicated career as team captain. Brady’s leadership skills were born naturally on the field, his “team first” mentality and positive attitude has forever resonated with opponents and teammates alike.
After high school, Brady wasted no time in pursuing his dreams. He became a licensed realtor at the age of 19 for Keller Williams Realty, Inc. and in February, Brady earned the 2023 Debbie Marshall Robke Productivity Award. He also worked at Planet Fitness in Alexandria where he was loved by their staff and patrons.
From an early age, Brady was just “B”, with his long hair, big contagious smile, and charming personality, you couldn’t help but fall in love with him. He championed his role as a son and friend. He supported his family and friends in everything they did, and never missed a birthday party or gathering. Brady shared a common love of Marvel with his friends, as he would host an annual Marvel movie marathon, lasting four days to complete. To know “B” was to love B. He was the first to share words of encouragement or give you a simple smile. His presence in the local community was undeniable.
The BeLikeB Foundation has been established in Brady’s Honor to keep his bright light shining throughout the community.
